10ft Standard Shipping Container

When you are looking to purchase or rent a 10ft shipping container, you can choose between a factory original NEW container, or a USED (refurbished) container. Our 10ft shipping containers are a really practical storage solution. A great option for storage when you are restricted by the amount of space available at your site. They are also a great size for self-storage site operators/owners who are wanting to offer storage units with different storage capacities. Built to the same spec as a standard 20ft unit, but only half the size! New, factory-built standard 10ft containers are manufactured in China, to ISO standards and then shipped over to the US. They are however more expensive to buy due to the shipping costs involved in getting them over here. Used 10ft shipping containers offer great value for money and are more cost effective to buy in the US. Created by cutting down a larger container, USED 10ft containers offer the idealstorage solution. These are known as ‘cut down’ 10ft containers. They will show signs of dents, imperfections and age as they have been used for international shipping for 10 + years. We completely repaint them in either dark green or dark blue paint, fit a lockbox to them and ensure they are in the best possible condition. We then fit either original ‘cargo’ container doors (as per photo to the right hand side), or more commonly with ‘flat panel’ type doors.
